The Crowd-Sourcing of Intelligent-Design

Baseballbots

Yea, ok. That is actually pretty clever.

Useful? Well… who cares?

Back in the (very) early days of Television, much was made of it’s wounderous potential for education and organisation and improving the human condition etc. And sure enough, it changed the world…

… but on the other hand, it is filled with the most banal, lying, fatuous crap that anyone could possibly imagine. Rather than being used for education, it wound up being used for lowest-common-denominator-entertainment who’s only purpose is to sell advertising in the gaps. Television is Moron-Bait.

Except in England of course. It’s quite good in England. Some of it. The documentaries I mean. We don’t really play baseball in England. We could make cricketbots I guess. That would be pretty easy. I mean they just sort of stand about, wearing flannels etc don’t they. Cricket is what rugby would be like if all the fighting was taken out of it and nobody could be arsed doing anything. I think rugbybots would be fairly easy to make as well. Basically just fightbots with a ball.

Sorry. I’ve just given up coffee again and my brains are scrambled.

An ode to Cognitive Surplus.

A celebration of the inventive backwaters of the human spirit... a celebration of people who would appear to have far too much time on their hands...

A celebration of laterality.

If you come they will build it.
