Genius – there are loads of them.
What’s mad about this, is the time difference is 30 years. I don’t think the difference in movie styles from 1980 to 2010 is as big as this. Technology is speeding up, culture is slowing down. Mainstream culture anyway. Maybe it’s just run out of ideas.

I used to congratulate myself on the fact that my generation was the first at my Uni, not to have to deal with punch-cards.
But… where there’s life, there’s art I guess. HP are about to launch a range of domestic 3D printers – and instead of thinking “woah” – the only thing that springs to mind is that maybe I should get one because in another 20 years, they’re going to be impossibly quaint, cool and useless artifacts from a bygone era.
